Course Introduction

This 5-day course has been designed as a tool to develop project skills in detailed planning, organising and execution delivery, as well as understanding how to close-out the project successfully. This course really will help delegates to progress in their project management careers with confidence.

This exciting and highly interactive course provides participants with the key skills required to plan, execute and successfully deliver projects in the most challenging of environments. In order to assist delegates to achieve this, we will make good use of industry best practice project management tools backed-up with practical instruction to reinforce topics covered in order to achieve desired results.

  • Understand requirements for project delivery within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Understand structural and systematic aspects of project planning and execution that can be used
  • Relate to best practice project management philosophies and how they support project delivery
  • Perform analytical techniques of project management using best-practice techniques
  • Understand the need for the project manager to be leading and managing project teams.

  • Identify with and manage stakeholders and communication needs in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Design & maintain continuous project performance and delivery control
  • Estimate accurately and allocate project costs and resources
  • Manage, compress or accelerate the schedule when required by adverse circumstances
  • Develop a project close-out plan in line with expected success criteria

Training Methodology

Participants will receive a thorough training with the Tutor utilising a variety of proven adult learning teaching and facilitation techniques. Seminar methodology includes an insight into industry best practice project management delivery tools and processes. The programme uses an applicable case study, and includes group discussion and critical analysis of actual projects. Prior knowledge of the fundamentals of projects is assumed, but will be covered briefly to ensure general understanding. New concepts and tools are introduced to enable delegates to progress from fundamental to more advanced project concepts.

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the circumstances presented. Generally, cancellations must be initiated in formal writing at least 14 days prior to the commencement date of the training course. Further, the option to shift an existing registration to another training course on a later date is possible. Otherwise, a full refund will be initiated.

Our training courses courses are being held at five-star hotels in prime and iconic destinations across the globe. Cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dubai, Geneva, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, London, Houston, New York, Paris, Vienna, Zurich, etc.

Our training courses will run for 5 hours per day. The standard daily timing is from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm including the coffee/tea breaks and lunch.

The training course fee can be settled by either:

Published training course fees are inclusive of the training venue, training manual, writing materials, lunch and coffee breaks with refreshments over the entire duration of the training course.
