Course Introduction

This 10 day Course will show you not only how to use competencies to deliver real, qualified improvements in terms of productivity and individual performance but also how to build and project a self-confident image that ensures the effective delivery of a competency based approach. Competencies are used to define desirable behaviour and then introduce improvements in selection, assessment, talent management and retention, performance management and employee development.

This training course teaches delegates on how to create better relationships with key people, and polish their communication skills to directly influence individual and organisational performance. The effective HR manager owes much of their personal success to interpersonal effectiveness as well as the ability to objectively set performance standards and goals. Effective HR and line managers have the capacity to work with others to get things done.

This training course will take delegates through the integrated process of implementing competency-based HR in your organisation by applying the competency framework to basic HR functions, ensuring that the right people are in the right jobs and are developed and motivated in the right way. The range of applications of competencies will also be explored including using competencies as key elements in succession planning and the management of values.

Training Methodology

This training course will utilise a variety of proven adult learning techniques to ensure maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented. This includes a range of interactive activities - group and individual exercises, videos, case studies and discussions.

There will also be presentations from, and facilitated discussions with, the course leader who is an HR professional and has many years’ experience of using competencies in a range of applications and developing personal effectiveness. Each day will end with delegates reflecting on the messages from the day and completing a summary of what has been learned that day and how the learning will be transferred back to the workplace.

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the circumstances presented. Generally, cancellations must be initiated in formal writing at least 14 days prior to the commencement date of the training course. Further, the option to shift an existing registration to another training course on a later date is possible. Otherwise, a full refund will be initiated.

Our training courses courses are being held at five-star hotels in prime and iconic destinations across the globe. Cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dubai, Geneva, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, London, Houston, New York, Paris, Vienna, Zurich, etc.

Our training courses will run for 5 hours per day. The standard daily timing is from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm including the coffee/tea breaks and lunch.

The training course fee can be settled by either:

Published training course fees are inclusive of the training venue, training manual, writing materials, lunch and coffee breaks with refreshments over the entire duration of the training course.
