Course Introduction

Materials Management is a generic term as broad as Information Management which touches the lives of a larger population with the rapid penetration of the internet in the past two decades.

In Information Management, the intangible data or information are being managed. Take personal data as an example. From personal data local law, corporate internal policy, collection, storage, utilization, to the disposition of personal data forms the complete personal data management process.

Materials Management is the science of managing tangible materials in the commercial or public sectors. Materials can be classified as consumables, Bill Of Materials (BOM) and saleable products. Consumables in the Oil and Gas industry include catalysts used in the crude oil refining process, spare parts in rotating equipment, etc. Consumables in a hospital includes syringes, disposable medical trays, etc, Bill Of Materials (BOM) refer to the raw materials required to make a finished/saleable product. For example, the BOM of a laptop computer consists of hundreds of parts (e.g. CPU, RAM, screen). The BOM of lubricant includes base oil and additives. Saleable products (materials) refer to the material that a company can sell to customers (mobile phone, laptop, lubricants, etc.) with in B2B or B2C channels.

This training course covers the acquisition of consumables and BOM, quality control, shipping & warehousing, inventory management and disposition.

This training course is designed to provide you with a complete knowledge of Warehouse Management, Project Management, Inventory Management, Procurement and Supply Chain System application.

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the circumstances presented. Generally, cancellations must be initiated in formal writing at least 14 days prior to the commencement date of the training course. Further, the option to shift an existing registration to another training course on a later date is possible. Otherwise, a full refund will be initiated.

Our training courses courses are being held at five-star hotels in prime and iconic destinations across the globe. Cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dubai, Geneva, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, London, Houston, New York, Paris, Vienna, Zurich, etc.

Our training courses will run for 5 hours per day. The standard daily timing is from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm including the coffee/tea breaks and lunch.

The training course fee can be settled by either:

Published training course fees are inclusive of the training venue, training manual, writing materials, lunch and coffee breaks with refreshments over the entire duration of the training course.
